| The BASS Plant addition was designed to extend the existing building and upgrade the existing washroom facility, as the space was unable to provide suitable working conditions. Both mechanical and electrical systems for the addition are to be integrated into the existing building’s system. Culliton Brothers was responsible for the mechanical, sheet metal and electrical portions of this project. Mechanical work included the installation of a new air handling unit for the office area, new unit heaters in the storage area and a new plumbing system to the addition and washrooms. The electrical portion of the project included the installation of a new manual transfer switch, step down transformer and panels. Also included was a lighting system complete with new controls and alterations to the fire alarm and public address systems. |
